A few weeks ago I downloaded Objectified…

A few weeks ago I downloaded Objectified, the documentary about industrial design from the director of Helvetica, which Toni sent me on DVD last year, and I loved. I finally got around to watching it last night and was so glad I did. It’s a solid introduction to the idea of industrial design, the kind of design movie that a non-designer can appreciate (more so than Helvetica, I think). It’s available on iTunes (inexplicably not in HD), on DVD and Blu-Ray from the Objectified web site, and an abbreviated version is airing on PBS.

  1. Glad you took the time to watch Objectified! I knew you’d love it :) It really is a nice, easily digestible summary of the state of industrial design.
